Rane Brake Lining among ‘Best Employers’

Rane Brake Lining Limited (RBL), part of the Rane Group, has been ranked as the third  in the list of “Best Workplaces” in the Indian auto components Industry for the second year in a row. The ranking came from the Great Place to Work Institute. The Great Place to Work Institute is a global research, consulting and training firm that helps organisations identify, create and sustain great workplaces through the development of high-trust workplace cultures.

Parameters from the rating included employee trust, pride, engaging work environment, open communication, innovative training programs and leadership development opportunities. A pivotal value at RBL is the appreciative culture and a practice towards this value is that RBL employees exchange smiley cards as a token of gratitude, respect and thanksgiving across shop-floor and function levels unbound by hierarchy or reporting structures. The “Subodhyam”, a daily intra-team morning meeting for information sharing and open appreciations, is another such initiative.
